Getting bigger and hungrier!

I'm twelve weeks along with an appetite of a teenage boy. Uh oh! All my dress pants squeeze me like pythons and I finally went a bought one new pair of dress capri pants. Just went up a size. I tried on some small maternity pants and I floated in them. Even my pajama pants are feeling snug and I have to low ride them so that about half my butt shows just to be comfortable. Some of Craig's family noticed my belly this weekend and said it was cute. Ha! I just think it looks fat. Craig even said that he can see it now. It makes me happy, but it worries me about the coming months. I am looking forward to a trip to Old Navy to get dresses and skirts to last me a while and then after. Craig has been working so hard on the upstairs. He is ready to tile the bathroom floor, very exciting! I have one more day of school, then five days off. I'm so ready, and can't wait to sleep in. We moved our doctor's appointment to Monday since I don't have school. Can't wait!
I am still on the fruit kick, spent another small fortune today on kiwi, oranges, plums, and some jello cups with fruit. yum! I can't leave out the fact that I also bought stuff to make ice cream sundaes, bean dip, guacamole dip, 3 kinds of chips, and frozen burritos. I guess, as long as I supplement with fruit I am good right? :)

BB on board

Here is the ultrasound pic of our little dude. Still not sure if it's a girl or boy, but Craig and I both have suspicions that it's a girl. I have been feeling pretty good, just the occasional heart burn and indefinite bloating. I am officially 12 weeks. We see our doctor again on the 7th of April. We can't wait to see how she says everything is progressing. I still haven't bought anything for the baby yet. I am doing so good. I thought I'd have a closet full of stuff by now. I am still thinking about buying Suzie the Sheep though. It's at bergners and just too darn cute.

motherhood qualms!

I watched 20/20 tonight which featured childhood schitzophrenia. It was probably some of the scariest stuff I've ever seen. To start off, one family had home videos of their baby girl following something on the ceiling. Cut to three years old and talking about Wednesday telling her to do stuff like jump off a building. Cut to seven years old and see her talking about all these different characters in her mind that do stuff like bite her brain or tell her to hurt her brother. Another girl threatened her mom she would kill her with a chainsaw, and how the pipes in her neck would bleed. So messed up. This is some scary stuff to watch as a mom-to-be but I couldn't make myself turn the channel. Probably because I only get two channels and the other one was not of interest, but I never even tried. Now I want to research other childhood diseases and disorders. I interject now, and tell myself not to do that because that could be a bad idea. Comon Monday!

Large what?

So, I went to the doctor yesterday for my first ob appointment. It went pretty good. She drew a ton of blood, check my whole body, and then checked some inside stuff. We tried to hear the heartbeat, but the little bugger was too fast and she couldn't pinpoint where it was at. We did hear it swooosh past a few times-so cool. Craig left the room for the gory inside details, which turns out to be kind of funny. Or really scary if you're me. She said everything looks great and I look healthy. The only thing was, I have a large uterus. I giggled when she said this because, let's face it people, I have never had anything large before. I knew my stomach looked bigger, but this confirmed it. She asked about our family history of twins, which we have none. Then she asked if I could be further along than we think. Nope, I meticulously calculated everything and there is no way. So, now I'm left with thinking I have twins in there or a really big baby is coming. We scheduled our ultrasound for Monday. So only three more days and I can see what's really in there. Mom sent us a package and it was just what I needed last night after my doctor's appointment. Cute little baby socks with cow tails, prego lounge pants, prego shirt, and some cream and a book for Craig. I immediately put the pants and shirt on and proceeded to lounge. I couldn't help take a couple more pictures last nihgt to show off my large uterus. Hahaha! The first picture is my belly two weeks ago. The last two are from last night. Do you think I've grown?

laundry??

Well, I was about to post about my new trick to get through laundry, but I checked Christi's blog first, big mistake, and read how magical and toasty warm I might add it is in sunny Florida. So, poop on my laundry, and get me the heck out of this freeze box.
